Marcus A. Tius, Ph.D.
Contract Natural Products Synthesis, USA
Dr. Tius is presently the Director of the Natural Products Program at the Cancer Research Center of Hawaii and a Professor at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He has received numerous honors and awards, including the Roche Distinguished Lecturer from Colorado State University, CREST Fellowship in 2001, the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Fellowship in 1998, and several distinctions in teaching excellence. He earned both a Ph.D. an M.S. in Chemistry from Harvard University, in addition to a B.A. in Chemistry & Mathematics of Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. Dr. Tius is an author of numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, paper presentations and book chapters. He served as a consultant for the Hawaii Biotechnology Group (HBG) and was a member of the academic team that collaborated with Eli Lilly Co. on the development of the cryptophycins.

Subagus Wahyuono, Ph.D.
Contract Natural Products Purification, Indonesia
Dr. Wahyuono is presently the Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Biology and the Vice Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Graduate program for the Faculty of Pharmacy at Gadjah Mada University. Dr. Wahyuono earned a Ph.D. in Medicinal Natural Products and a M.Sc. in Natural Products Chemistry, both of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Arizona. He is an author of numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, paper presentations, book chapters and international seminars as an invited lecturer.

Jin-Feng Hu, Ph.D.
Contract Natural Products Purification, China
Dr. Hu is presently the Deputy Director for Chemical Genomics Research at the Key Laboratory of Brain Functional Genomics in China and a Professor in the Department of Natural Products at the East China Normal University. He previously served as a Senior Scientist and then Principal Scientist of Natural Products Chemistry and Medicinal Chemistry for Sequoia Sciences, Inc. in San Diego. Dr. Hu completed a research fellowship at The Scripps Research Institute in California with the Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation and a post-doctoral fellowship in the Department of Pharmacognosy and National Center for the Development of Natural Products at The University of Mississippi, as well as a German BMBF Fellow in Hans-Knöll Institute for Natural Products Research. Dr. Hu earned a Ph.D. in Natural Organic Chemistry, in addition to a M.S. in Natural Products and Organic Synthesis and a B.S. in Applied Organic Chemistry, each of Lanzhou University in China. He has made significant achievements in isolation, purification, structure elucidation and modification of natural products from Chinese medicine, medicinal plants, microorganisms and marine invertebrates. Dr. Hu is a special invited reviewer for the Journal of Natural Products and Planta Medica, an author of over 40 peer-reviewed journal articles, numerous presentations, a patent and a book chapter.

MinKyun Na, Ph.D.
Contract Natural Products Purification and Characterization, South Korea
Dr. Na is presently an Assistant Professor in a tenure track in the College of Pharmacy at Yeungnam University in Kyongsan, Korea. He completed postdoctoral fellowships in Natural Products with the Department of Pharmacognosy at The University of Mississippi and the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience Biotechnology, respectively. He earned a Ph.D. in Pharmacognosy, in addition to a B.S. in Pharmacy from Chungnam National University in Daejeon, Korea. Dr. Na is an author of 46 peer-reviewed journal articles, 10 paper presentations and 7 patents.
